I have produced a full range of theory lessons to support the AQA design technology GCSE 9-1. There are 40 lessons that are taught one a week throughout Y10 (listed below). Bit Stop Bedside Storage. This project will give you a sound understanding of some of the main manufacturing techniques used in industry in order to batch produce products using jigs, templates and formers. Previously gained experience in woods, metals and polymers will also be developed. CNC machining will be introduced in order to create a personalised finished product. I have developed this MOCK NEA to mirror what students will be asked to do for the real thing. It supports them in putting all the learning from Y10 into action with an increasing independence and appreciation to timings and deadlines. The project is very simple to make allowing students the space to focus on getting all aspects completed to the highest quality with the given timescales.
